Artificial Intelligence against Covid-19

At the University of Brescia (Italy) we are studying AI systems that can help in the fight against Covid-19. We are developing new tools based on machine learning to analyse clinical data and build personalised predictive models for Covid-19 patients. The research group is formed by a team of researchers in AI and data science working in strict collaboration with medical researchers and hospital personnel. The AI and machine learning team is led by professor Alfonso Emilio Gerevini (Department of Information Engineering); the medical part of the research is coordinated by professor Roberto Maroldi (Department of Medical and Surgical Specialties, Radiological Sciences, and Public Health).
